The wooden crank mechanism works smoothly, and my kids have been playing "ice cream shop" nonstop all afternoon. It's sturdy enough to handle their enthusiastic turning, which is a relief.

My daughter loves turning the wooden crank to make pretend ice cream, the painted details are really charming and it feels solid. We've had hours of imaginative play already, a lovely traditional toy.

The wooden pieces fit together nicely, and my 6-year-old loves pretending to scoop the felt "ice cream" balls. It’s a sturdy little toy, though the crank can be a bit stiff for smaller hands at first.
